1: The SFX link to the online resource in the ETH Library Search Portal doesn't work. What can I do?

It may occur that some of the online resources do not work properly. In the lower part of the selected window you may report the problem by filling out the feedback form.

2: I forgot to bring back a book and now I have to pay an amount. Can I make the transaction in the CS Library?

No. Reminder charges are being processed by the SLSP AG exclusively and you will be receiving an invoice. 

3: The provided copies of a textbook are always out of the library. How can I get a copy?

The easiest way is to reserve a copy in the ETH Library Search Portal. As soon as the copy is back and ready for you to be picked up, you'll get an e-mail notification. If you think that there's a significant lack of copies of a textbook please don't hesitate to contact us. We'll check if we can acquire more copies if needed.

4: I've lost a book - what now?

Please contact us as soon as possible in order to figure out a solution.

5: Why do I need an additional reserach tool to find my textbooks?

The online Tool displays the actual stock of the textbook collection. You can find information about availability and location in the collection very easily. Additionaly the tool also displays, if the textbooks are also available as a digital copy.

6: The self loan station doesn't seem to be working.

Please first control if the copy you're holding is loanable. If there are two bold lines on the signature label, this is a reference only-copy.

If you haven't registered yourself at the infodesk, please do so. Afterwards you're free to use the self loan station.

Sometimes it may happen that the self loan station has a bad day. Please cancel all going processes by pressing ALT + F4 and start again. To log out probperly at the end of the loan process, please use the "clean session"-button on the startscreen.
