Keeping track of your loans

In your NEBIS-Account, all your loans and reservations of all NEBIS-libraries are listed.
There, you can also prolong each single loan, in case there is no reservation for it.
For documents you loaned from the CS library, the following rules apply:

Non-lendable Media / Reference-only Books

People who are not associated with D-INFK may use the library only for reference purposes, i.e. they are not allowed to borrow documents from the library.
Furthermore, teacher's books ("Doz"), reference books and books being marked with a red "reference only" signature are not lendable. It is also not possible to borrow journals and magazines.
Note that this also applies to people who are associated with D-INFK.

Loaning a book

Lendable documents can be loaned at the library desk.

Returning a book

During the regular opening ours (Mo-Fr, 8-20), you can return your documents at the library desk (take the special opening ours into account). You can also return your documents if the library desk is unoccupied.
At all other times, please use the return box which is located in the left part of the CAB main entrance hall.

Alternatively, you can also return your books at the desk of ETH main library in HG.

Reserving a book

It is possible to reserve a medium that you are interested in, but that is currently loaned.
To do this, you can either:

Reminders

After 10 days 1st Reminder 10 CHF per document
After another 10 days 2nd Reminder another 10 CHF per document (= 20 CHF)
