Textbook Collection

General information

In the Textbook Collection we offer relevant literature for current lectures for students of Computer Science. The collection is divided in one part for Bachelor lectures and one for Master lectures. In general there are severeal lendable copies and also a reference copy as long as there's no online ressource available. Before the start of every new semester we adapt the collection for each lecture with the recommandations of the lecturer.

There is an online virtual representation of the Textbook Collection. Here you can find the position of available copies and - if provided - a link to online ressources.

How to find one's way in the Textbook Collection

Books for the bachelor's program are subdivided in semesters (1st / 2nd Semester, Compulsory Courses, Compulsory Major Courses, Electives). Within the semester the lectures are ordered alphabetically by their Englisch title.

For best overview the books for the master's program are subdivided directly into lectures and are as well ordered alphabetically by the English title.

How to read call numbers of textbooks

Textbook call numbers

Call numbers of textbooks als constructed as follows: Textbook.B.078.01.3

B: Bachelor (M for Master)
078: Number of the the lecture
01: Sequenze number
3: specific copy

If there are two bold black lines above and beneath the call number (see picture), the book is a reference copy and therefore not lendable.

On the right side you will find specific information about the lecture to whom the book belongs.
